Sarah is an Educational Consultant providing curriculum support and developmentally appropriate guidance to Television Production Companies. She began her career in Children's Media as a volunteer with TVO’s parent council, and from there knew she was hooked. Now she partners with a variety of Production Companies and does everything and anything Media: provides recommendations on series bibles, premises, and scripts to ensure they are developmentally appropriate, makes connections to curriculum, and supports the development of Digital Media to include connections to learning objectives and educational outcomes. Sarah has worked with numerous companies including: Sinking Ship, Hulascope Studio, Breakthrough Entertainment, Screen Door, Nomad Productions, Breakthrough Films, Skywriter Media & Entertainment, Subsequence Entertainment, 9 Story Entertainment, Sardine Productions, Entertainment One, CarpeDiem Film & TV, Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc., Rad Sheep, and Toboggan Studio.
In addition to her current work with Children's Media, she has studied under, and delivered training for an Educational Research foundation, HighScope. She has instructed Early Childhood Education courses at Sheridan College, and taught kindergarten through grade six with the Toronto District School Board.
Sarah is thrilled to have worked as the educational consultant for several television shows that are broadcasted internationally, and loves this part of her world that combines children and art.
