Lorraine is a senior member of the American Society of Quality, a member of Professional Engineers Ontario, and a member of Society of Manufacturing Engineers. She is a multi-disciplined professional with over 20 years of experience in the private sector. She started her career in product development and progressed to roles in process engineering, quality, lean, and business management. Her career has spanned a range of industries including consumer packaged goods, plastics, finishes, chemicals, electronics, and education. She is active in volunteer and community initiatives. She serves as a board director of 'Compass Charitable Foundation', and has initiated programs with Toronto Community Housing and other charitable organizations. She has taught at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Sheridan College, Seneca College and currently teaches courses under the umbrella of 'Supply Chain Management' at Centennial College, Progress Campus.
