headSTART is a pre-arrival program designed to help new students prepare for your first week of classes. The content is broken down into three sections: personal, which focuses on logistical matters; academic, which helps you better understand what to expect of your classroom experience; and professional, which provides information and resources about working while in school and finding a job when you graduate. headSTART is comprised of an online portal, a weekly email newsletter and a series of webinars dedicated to each of the three sections.
Why use headSTART?
Centennial is committed to your success, inside the classroom and beyond. We know it’s not enough to offer a few resources so you can get good grades. In fact, getting good grades starts with having everything else in balance: having a safe place to live, having what you need for class, holding a part-time job, accessing student resources when you need them and more. If you were spending a lot of money on a new product, you’d ask around to see what you needed to know about the product before you bought it. Think of headSTART as talking to a friend about what you need to know about starting at Centennial!
How to access headSTART
We have made this part super easy – all you have to do is log in to Experience Centennial! Here are the steps to log in:
- Go to: Experience Centennial
- Choose Student login
- User Name: Enter your 9-digit Centennial College Student ID (check your offer letter)
- Password: If this is your first time logging in, your password will be your date of birth (MMDDYY)
- Look for headSTART on the left-hand side bar.
