Grad Month

Explore Grad Month Events
Step 1: Applying To Graduate
If you are eligible to graduate, you must apply to graduate by March 20. Check out the guides below to get started and learn the requirements for eligible graduating students.
You will also receive an email approximately six months following your graduation from Forum Research, a research firm contracted by the Ministry of Colleges & Universities. This firm will be collecting information for the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Graduate Satisfaction Survey. You may also receive a reminder SMS message or phone call. Please take the time to complete the survey – your feedback will help us improve the student experience.
Step 2: Accessing Student Resources
When you graduate, your access to student services will change. Check out impacted areas and plan ahead to make sure you are prepared.
Once Enrolment Services has updated the academic information system after Centennial students complete their last semester and graduate, IT systems will update student account access to reflect your new status. Components of your MyCentennial accounts will remain accessible. This includes student email services and student records, such as Transcripts, Tax Forms and Grade History.
Access to the Microsoft 365 Suite will be discontinued, including access to OneDrive. If students have data stored on OneDrive, this will need to be copied prior to access being revoked. Examples of this could be: to transfer your files to another cloud storage or subscription service, copying to an external USB hard drive, or copying all files to your own personal device. Microsoft offers an equivalent personal paid subscription containing the same applications being used at Centennial College.
Step 3: Accessing Centennial & Community Resources
Once a Colt, always a Colt! As a Centennial College alumnus, you have access to amazing resources and alumni benefits! Check them out below.
The Student Community Connections team has also created an interactive map of community resources available if you require food, housing, school and childcare support in the Greater Toronto Area.
Centennial College Alumni have access to many great benefits and services offered exclusively to our alumni. Also many of the College service areas you may have used as a student are still available for you to access as a graduate. Take advantage of all the perks and discounts available to you as a Centennial alumnus! Learn more about becoming an alumni here.
After graduation, Career Services is still here to support you for career success. Alumni can access Experience Centennial to apply for jobs, attend events, webinars, networking sessions, and book appointments with our expert Employment Advisors. The New Grad Job Search Guide also provides some tips and tricks as you navigate your career.
International students will have access to the support of Centennial International Student Advisors up to receiving their Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Recent graduates with PGWP application inquiries can connect with Advisors via webinars and drop-in advising.
The Office of Development is committed to nurturing and strengthening relationships with graduates, current students, industry partners, and supporters to help achieve Centennial’s mission of educating students for career success.

Alumni and retirees may borrow up to two print books excluding items on a short-term loan. Items can be placed on hold and may be renewed by logging in to your library account. Please contact us by phone or email to receive your initial password. You must show valid alumni or library cards to borrow library material. To sign up for a library card, please bring a piece of valid photo ID with your name and current address to the Library Service Desk at any campus. Once we confirm your status, we can issue your card immediately. Alumni and retirees are not able to access online library resources off campus. Alumni may contact alumni@centennialcollege.ca to request computer access on campus.
After graduation, alumni still have access to the Athletic & Wellness Centre at Progress Campus through one of our membership plans.
Membership to the AWC includes access to all of its amenities: the gymnasium, fitness centre, studios, squash courts, running track, rock climbing wall, locker rooms and showers. As members, alumni can also join fitness classes or work with a personal trainer to create an individual fitness plan.
