Ashton FernandesCommunity & Justice ServicesI came from a high-risk community in Toronto and I wanted to understand the injustices that pervaded there while engaging in opportunities that would allow for meaningful contributions back to my community. Centennial’s Community & Justice Services program offered the ideal education to develop my personal and professional skills. Every one of my professors were role models for continuous learning and champions of social justice. My education at Centennial led me to earn my Bachelor of Criminology and my Masters of Arts in Criminology at Ontario Tech University. Although I have steadily climbed the educational ladder, I attribute my current success to Centennial College’s Community and Justice Services program. I would like to thank the Faculty for making a world of difference in my life and helping me to change the lives of others and to build a better world....
