| Description | In the Advanced Dialysis, students will gain a deeper understanding of detailed dialysis equipment function, trouble-shooting and associated water purification technology. The emphasis of BTEC322 is on the main components of the dialysis machines, hands-on calibration, maintenance and technical troubleshooting. Additionally, through knowledge of water purification need and the technology thereof. Students will understand the important role renal dialysis technologist plays within the hospital and home clinic care team. Students will carry out practical dialysis-associated projects. Students will also be introduced to various employment opportunities that are available within the industry. |
