| Description | This advanced, hands-on automotive paint course is designed for those already in the trade who want to learn more about modern refinishing systems, specifically, surface preparation and top coats. You’ll examine colour shading and colour matching, spot repair and touch-up, three-stage painting, base coat/clear coat and high solid primers after studying health and safety regulations. You’ll be expected to supply your own respirator. Prerequisite: CEAB-903 or equivalent experience as determined by the department Note: Safety boots and safety goggles must be worn in the lab areas. You will be denied access to labs if you are dressed inappropriately. |
