Description | With all the advancement in Wheel ends and braking assemblies from the introduction of air disc brake to tire pressure monitoring and adjustment systems, technician now has to be more advance and better trained. This course will teach the students how to be safe, understand and able to perform their duties following strict rules and regulation. Students will be able to identify and explain the principle and purpose of the different parts of the wheel end assemblies. Perform diagnostics, adjustments and repairs on wheel ends following the recommended procedures. Students will be able to identify and explain the purpose and operating principles of the different components on both Hydraulic and Air brake system. Students will learn the laws that govern heavy duty vehicle braking system. They will also be able to perform inspection, diagnose and perform repairs on the foundation braking system on a heavy duty vehicle following manufacturers guideline. |
