Take the first step towards meeting and exceeding your career goals. Recognized as the industry benchmark, the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)® delivers the financial training employers demand.
The Canadian Securities Course Part 1 includes:
* The Canadian securities industry and the regulatory environment
* Market and economic events impacting investment performance
* Understanding and analyzing corporate financial statements
* Financial instruments: fixed income, equities, managed products, structured products, fee based accounts and derivatives
Please note that success at Centennial does not mean the
student has passed the Canadian Securities Course. This will only occur when all criteria of the CSC Industry have been met. Students must successfully complete two CSC Industry Exams within defined time limits. A minimum grade of 60% is required on each exam and the overall course grade is a simple average of the results obtained for each exam. CSC Exam #1 covers Volume 1 of the course material, while CSC Exam #2 covers Volume 2 of the course material.
Registration at the Canadian Securities Institute is required and provides all text book materials and practice questions. You will register at www.csi.ca and the fee is approximately $487 for each of parts 1 & 2.
