| Description | This course will familiarize the student with electrical circuit protection and control devices as it applies to onboard aircraft systems. The student will learn to identify devices and explain their functions in a variety of common applications. Devices such as switches, relays, fuses, circuit breakers and solenoids and their operation will be covered. In addition, students will learn about semiconductor materials, their construction and applications using components such as diodes and transistors. |
