| Description | This course introduces the student to the security and privacy principles, risk assessment, management, response methodologies, and remediation, incident notification, security compliance, professional ethics in data security, security of information systems, securing network components, and the privacy legislation in Ontario and Canada. The students will be exposed to access control principles, encryption algorithms, anonymization algorithms and de-identification tools for health data. |
