Description | Employment Preplacement is offered to co-operative education students during the academic term immediately preceding the student's first scheduled work semester. Students are assisted with the development of a job search strategy, resume preparation and interviewing skills. Students participate in the co-op placement process concurrently with attendance in this course. Group work, discussions and guest speakers are used to explore student and employer expectations during the work term. Students become familiar with work term activities including the setting of learning objectives, work report preparation and employer evaluations. |
