| Description | This course introduces the student to metal fabrication and processing (cutting and drilling, riveting). Forming and binding sheet metal. Materials/Shop safety, blueprint reading, layout techniques, materials handling and processing, use of hand tools, Aircraft construction will be discussed, identifying the parts of an aircraft and stress and load distribution, as they would apply to an aircraft structure. |
