Description | This course provides students with basic sanitation principles and practices for a food-service operation using the TrainCan BASICS.fst online program including an industry examination to earn the TrainCan Basics Food Safety Training certification. The learner will adopt the fundamentals of safe alcohol service through the Smart Serve program. Successful completion of online training and examination will result in the achievement of the Smart Serve certification. Learners will also participate in the online and practical training for Emergency First Aid/CPR thus earning them the Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid/CPR C certificate. Together, these three certifications will meet the needs of employers in many sectors of the hospitality industry and prepare students for the workforce and related studies. |
