Description

This course is the second part of the Managerial Accounting course offered to students enrolled in the three year full-time Accounting program of the School of Business. This course continues the work started in Management Accounting 1 by broadening the students’ knowledge of Management Accounting as a management tool, focusing on the contribution income statement, analysis of cost behaviour, cost-volume-profit analysis, use of relevant costs in decision-making and inventory management, absorption and variable costing, fixed overhead analysis, and reporting for control and pricing in management accounting. The strategies include assignments, quizzes, a term test and a comprehensive final exam.
