| Description | Students will develop the theoretical foundation necessary to effectively create music. Students will become comfortable using standard Western notation to express musical ideas. Topics to be explored include intervals, scales, chords, and chord progressions. Students will apply their theoretical knowledge to the creation of original musical ideas and musical analysis. |
