| Description | This course addresses post-anaesthesia nursing care from admission to discharge. The various anaesthetic techniques will be discussed, as will post-anaesthesia nursing care for various surgical specialties. The use of specialized monitoring equipment and data interpretation will also be covered. Other topics include the assessment and management of post operative pain, care of patients with thermal imbalance, care of the shock trauma patient and airway management. |
