Description

This course focuses on plays written by Canadians and for Canadian audiences.  Aboriginal, English and French traditions will all be considered, as well as the multicultural voices of contemporary Canadian theatre.  Example Canadian playwrights that may be included in this course: Robert Lepage, Wajdi Mouawad, Timothy Findley, Norm Foster, Tomson Highway, David French, Margo Kane, Herman Voaden, Daniel MacIvor, Djanet Sears, Michel Tremblay or Judith Thompson.
