| Description | This course is design to aid the student in keeping them self safe in the work environment. They will also learn about the various laws that govern the work place and their rights and responsibilities as a worker is such environment. Students will be able to demonstrate how to correctly use various types of precision and non-precision tools. Student will be taught about the reason for and different types of bearings and seal. They will be able to carry out recommended diagnostics and repairs on bearing and seals. They will understand the principle and purpose of heating and cutting tools. Be able to explain and identify the different types of Oxy – fuel heating and cutting equipment and perform basic heating and cutting procedures following recommended guideline. |
