| Description | This course covers basic operating system concepts using Linux. Coursework emphasizes file management and permissions, UNIX utilities, the shell environment and basic networking and security. Students will be introduced to basic system administration, shell scripting and C programming, installing and maintaining server applications, version control and networking using a Linux operating system. |
