Description | This course will help students develop excellent welding skills and techniques that meet today’s industry standards. The student will be introduced to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)and, the student will also learn how to set-up a Gas Metal Arc Welder (GMAW) to perform various welds on galvanized coated metals, using various joints, in various welding positions, and perform a destructive test to inspect the welds for defects. The set-up and use of Squeeze Type Resistance Spot Welder (STRSW)will also be covered, students will perform welding techniques on galvanized and non-galvanized coated metals, and also with a combination of automotive structural adhesives. |
