Engagement Week (Reading Week) is February 24-28
What is Engagement Week?
Engagement Week serves as a component of Centennial’s ongoing commitment to supporting student success. Engagement Week (Reading Week) offers students an opportunity to participate in virtual and in-person events that include personal development sessions, skill building programs and social gatherings. We invite you to take this week to do what you need to recharge, catch up, reconnect or take a break!
What can we expect from Engagement Week?
For the Winter 2025 Engagement Week, there will be both indoor and outdoor activities that allow you to take full advantage of the winter time in Toronto and the surrounding area. Please check the Engagement Week page for updates about events and registrations.

Join the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts Transitions and Student Life Team as Centennial College takes a trip to Ripley’s Aquarium on February 24th, 2025.
Please meet at the front of the Aquarium at 9:30 a.m. to ensure a smooth sign in process. All Centennial College students are asked to bring the following:
- Student myCard
- Confirmation of current full-time enrollment
- Please note all participants must fill out a waiver along with $10 payment for ticket

Are you ready to be a part of something truly special? The CALCS: Health and Wellness team is on a mission to spread kindness and support our future students and we need your help. We are looking for 130 enthusiastic volunteers to join us in packing “Care Packages” that will be distributed to students during the Summer 2025 - Wellness Week.

Celebrate your love for basketball with CCSAI and CCAA as we host an exclusive Centennial outing to the Raptors vs. Celtics game at Scotiabank Arena!
Seats are available in Sec. 307 Rows 15 - 18 and Sec. 311 Rows 15 - 27.
Seat assignments will be assigned as tickets are distributed.

Join the Transitions and Student Life Team at Arcadia Earth; a multi-sensory journey that combines creative art installations and exciting technology to inspire visitors to take action towards a more sustainable future. This immersive experience showcases the beauty of our planet and the impact of human actions on the environment.

Career Services is excited to invite you to the Community Studies Career Fair! 40+ employers will be participating in this Career Fair. Don't miss this great opportunity to connect with potential employers and explore career opportunities in your field. A complete list of employers will be shared with registrants the week prior to the event.
Format: Trade show "meet and greet" style where each employer will have their own table. Please anticipate and be ready to network and answer basic interview questions.
Eligibility: The event is open to Centennial current students, upcoming graduates for April 2025, and graduates from earlier years.

Interested in exploring the outdoors this Winter? Join the Transitions and Student Life team at Rouge National Urban for a community hike on the Vista Trail. This event is open to all Centennial students but capacity is limited to 100 people If you are interested in taking part in this event, fill out the registration form above.
Note: Wear appropriate clothing for the event. Be sure to check the weather the night before, and wear athletic shoes, comfy and warm clothing to make the most of the event.

The Intercultural Fluency Digital Badge Program aims to foster a global mindset through the development of career-focused cross-cultural collaboration skills, intercultural communication strategies and knowledge of socio-political issues and their impact on our sense of belonging and cultural identity. The program strives to support students in recognizing and adapting their attitudes towards engaging and working in diverse classrooms and workplaces.
Upon completion, you’ll earn a digital badge to showcase your intercultural competence. Add the badge to your LinkedIn profile, resume, or portfolio to highlight your skills to future employers and stand out in the job market. Spaces are limited—register today!
